  • Holy Week Schedule at St. James
  • A Bus Trip to Celebrate the Year of Mercy and our Nation’s Heritage ...Our Holy Father has offered us an opportunity to reflect upon the mercy that our Heavenly Father has for each of us. In response to this invitation, please join other faithfilled members of our Catholic community on a journey to the Holy Doors of our National Shrine, the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. Beginning with a private Mass at the Basilica with Archbishop Timothy Broglio of the Archdiocese of the United States Military Service and a priest from Cleveland, we will begin a time of reflection on he Father’s mercy for each human person. While in Washington, D.C., we will also visit many of the national memorials that remind us of our country’s deep heritage and our dedication to the values of freedom and peace for all. The bus trip is May 2-5, 2016. Prices and brochure will be available very soon. Mark your calendar now and plan on reserving your place. Space is very limited. Transportation, hotel, tours, and most meals will be included. Free time is also planned for personal exploration of the Basilica or our nation’s capital. To reserve your space or for questions, please contact Saint Clement Rectory or Susan Battiato at 216-973-7516.

  • Best of Spain & Portugal

Dear Friends of Christ, Once again we have decided to lead a Catholic Pilgrimage to Europe. We have found that touring with a group of people having similar beliefs and values provides an excellent opportunity for fellowship and friendship. This year we will be traveling to Portugal, Spain and France. We will journey to some of the most sacred shrines and places of prayer and devotion in Europe! In Portugal, we will visit Fatima, where the Blessed Mother appeared early in the 20th Century. In Spain, our group will visit the city of Avila, made famous by St. Theresa and Montserrat, with the venerated Our Lady of Montserrat statue. Our tour will also take us to the beautiful cities of Salamanca, Madrid and Barcelona. In France, our travels will take us to Lourdes, where the Virgin Mary appeared to St. Bernadette and where healing occurs even today. There is a wealth of history to be seen and felt in the places we will be visiting and we really look forward to the experience. In addition, a pilgrimage can also be a wonderful opportunity for spiritual renewal and prayer. As such, we will celebrate mass daily as a group and try to get to know one another and have a great trip. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, Fr Rod Kreidler Fr. • Walking With Purpose

What is Walking with Purpose? Walking with Purpose is a Catholic Women Bible study program. Walking with Purpose endeavors to meet women where they are, giving them practical Biblical teaching that is consistent with Church doctrine and uses the Catechism of the Catholic Church as an additional resource. All materials have received the imprimatur from the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Walking with Purpose aims to bring women to a deeper personal relationship with Jesus Christ by offering personal study and small group discussion that link our everyday challenges and struggles with the solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church. Walking with Purpose has three elements: at-home study, weekly small group meetings (if in the parish-based or small group programs), and a monthly talk on relevant course material. Walking with Purpose has over 100 parishes involved in our Leadership Training Program in the United States, Europe and Canada and has helped thousands of women grow closer to Christ. Registration is open to all women throughout the course. Check the events a calendar for our next FREE Connect Coffee event!
