BAPTISM

"For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ." Gal 3:27

MASS TIMES | Friday: 8:15a | Sunday: 10:30a
Infants/Young Children

Parents seeking to present young children to be welcomed into the family of the Church through baptism are asked to call the Parish Office: 216-712-6755.

Since the earliest times, Baptism has been administered to children for it is a grace and a gift of God that does not presuppose any human merit; children are baptized in the faith of the Church (CCC 1282). Parents of children are required to participate in a instructional period highlighting the meaning of Baptism and their role as Christian parents.

Adults

Adults who are not baptized or have been baptized and desire to be received into full communion with the Catholic Church participate in a process known as the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). This process is modeled after the early church's rite of welcoming adults. In addition to informing the adult in the practice of the Catholic faith, the RCIA seeks to form the adult as a disciple of Christ through personal conversion.
