BOOK & FILM STUDIES

BUILD COMMUNITY.  FOSTER FRIENDSHIPS. GROW IN FAITH.
READ GREAT CATHOLIC BOOKS. WATCH GREAT CATHOLIC FILMS.

Want to grow in faith?  Meet more people in the parish?  Develop friendships outside of Mass?  Then join our Parish Book & Film Studies as we read some the best contemporary Catholic books out there and see excellent Catholic films.  An initiative of the Parish Development Committee, the Parish Book & Film Program is designed to connect men, women, and families in our parish, to help them engage in their faith, and to bolster parish life.

Following the distribution of books, study groups are formed to discuss the book.  Find a time that works for you and join us as we grow in friendship, knowledge, and faith.

THE SOURCE AND SUMMIT OF OUR FAITH

Bishop Barron offers inspiring insights into the mystery of Christ's presence in our lives and the centrality of the Eucharist as an important part of that presence.

So many believers do not understand the Eucharist, which Vatican II said is the “source and summit of the Christian life.”

This fresh look at the Eucharist brings to light its reality as sacred meal, the sacrifice necessary for communion with God, and the Real Presence of Christ.
