About The Event
Lend your voice to lead a group! Pavarottis not required -- just help your groups stay on track, on time, and on key (if possible!) Â No music experience required. Â Just arrive by 6p on Dec. 10 and make sure your group is back by 7:15p. Light-up festive necklaces provided for volunteers to wear and keep!

​(Friday Dec. 10 - after 8:15A Mass) | Volunteers Decorate the Courtyard and Church Property with luminaries and set-up Courtyard for Caroling by Candlelight Post-Caroling Cookies & Cocoa Reception​
Dec. 4 | 5:00P | Volunteers Arrive (for day-of set-up in the Lower Church and set-up luminaries outside)
---> 6:00P | Caroling Group Leaders Arrive
6:15P | Caroling by Candlelight Participants Arrive (and divide into groups of 10-12 people)
---> 6:30P | Caroling Groups Depart (with provided song booklets of traditional Christmas carols, Christmas cards for our neighbors, and lanterns/lights brought from home for caroling in the streets surrounding St. James)
6:30P | The Intercessory Prayer Team prays before the Blessed Sacrament in the Church (perfect for our prayer warriors and/or those unable to navigate the potentially icy sidewalks)
---> 7:15P | Caroling Groups Return (to all together sing Silent Night & O Come, O Come Emmanuel as a large group in Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament)
7:25P | Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament
7:30P | Free Cookies & Cocoa in the Lower Church
8:30P | Participants Depart & Clean-up begins
9:00P | Volunteers Depart
