Talk #1: Children -- Reaching Your Child's Heart: Mothers today are overwhelmed with expectations. Guilt abounds. We listen to our culture and take on those expectations. But we are also aware that our children aren’t really our own-- that they belong to God. Please join us as we discuss how we can reach our children’s hearts in the way that God intends and with the truths that He values to mother in a way that has lasting value.
“Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.” (Joshua 3:5)
Talk #2: Martha: Does What I Do Matter?: Do you find it hard to say no to requests for help? Do you find yourself over-committed to serve but then live close to burnout as a result? Please join us for an inspirational talk and discussion about checking our motives to serve, paying attention to balance in our lives and how to grow in contentment and simplicity.
“Moreover, God is able to make every grace abundant for you, so that in all things, always having all you need,
you may have an abundance for every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8
No experience necessary, just come as you are for some coffee and see what Walking with Purpose is all about.
Walking with Purpose is a women’s Catholic Bible study that aims to bring women to a closer relationship with Christ. Personal study and small group discussions at WWP each week link our everyday challenges with the solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church.
