Talk #1: Children -- Reaching Your Child's Heart: Mothers today are overwhelmed with expectations. Guilt abounds. We listen to our culture and take on those expectations. But we are also aware that our children aren’t really our own-- that they belong to God. Please join us as we discuss how we can reach our children’s hearts in the way that God intends and with the truths that He values to mother in a way that has lasting value.
“Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.” (Joshua 3:5)
Talk #2: The Temple — I Invite You In
If you’ve ever been denied access to someone you need to talk to, you know how frustrating it is to be shut out. In the Old Testament, women could only know God from a distance. Christ has made a new way for us to approach God. Please join us for a inspiring video and discussion about how God encourages us to grow close to Him.
No experience necessary, just come as you are for some coffee and see what Walking with Purpose is all about.
About the Studies Offered This Season:
Opening Your Heart, The Starting Point: This 22-week foundational course is designed for women who are new to
WWP as well as those with more Bible study experience. Join us as we examine the core questions that we wrestle with if we want to experience all that God has for us.
Beholding Your King: Beholding Your King integrates Scripture with the teachings of the Catholic Church to show us how all Scripture points us to our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. The second part of a two-party study of salvation history, Beholding Your
King is recommended for women who have completed Beholding His Glory.
Walking with Purpose is a women’s Catholic Bible study that aims to bring women to a closer relationship with Christ. Personal study and small group discussions at WWP each week link our everyday challenges with the solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church.
