Students from the parishes of Saint James and Saint Clement prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation together.

An informational meeting explaining the New Diocesan Guidelines for the process of Sacramental preparation will be held on Sunday, September 10.

Year 1 parents and students will meet Sunday, September 10, 5:30pm-6:30pm at the Saint Clement Church Hall

Year 2 parents and students will meet Sunday, September 10, 7:00pm-8:00pm at the Saint Clement Church Hall.

Candidates will meet regularly for instruction throughout the year. Preparation includes an in depth look at Baptism, the Gifts of the Spirit, choosing a sponsor, being witnesses to the Gospel and exploring holy people as role models. A retreat day, a service component and participation at student Masses are also part of Confirmation preparation. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated early 2018.
