Friday December 8 marks the day we celebrate that Mary — through the overwhelming merits of her Son — was born free of original sin and was preserved from sin all her life. It is a Holy Day of Obligation. 

Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 7pm for the Vigil and Friday at 8:15a. 

The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is also the Patronal Feast Day of the United States of America.
