Help Jesus Light Up Lakewood with Us

For the first time, the Lakewood Catholic Parishes are uniting to spread Christmas cheer at a booth at this year's Light Up Lakewood in downtown Lakewood on Dec 6th from 4-8 PM. We plan to share the light and joy of Christ by running a carnival-style game (like Plinko!), and handing out postcards with Advent events and the Christmas Mass schedule for St. James, St. Clement and St. Luke.

Anyone merry and bright is encouraged to volunteer, including whole families.

Help us:

-share joy through the carnival game and prizes

-welcome others to upcoming events with  candy canes and flyers

-spread Christmas cheer by joining a group to sing traditional Christmas carols

-help set up or clean up the booth

Volunteer shifts are about two hours long. (Caroling slots are 1 hour -- song sheets and electric candles will be provided).

Would love to help but can't make it? Purchasing our prizes or providing cash donations to fund the giveaways are most welcome. Our sign-up sheet contains links for the items we plan to give away.
