Updated: Apr 2

Easter Sunday — Celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Easter Sunday is the joyful celebration of Jesus Christ rising from the dead, the central event of the Christian faith. It’s a day of hope, new life, and renewal, and it’s the culmination of Holy Week.

Please join us in celebrating this most joyful occasion!

A Celebration of New Life

“O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” 1 Corinthians 15:55

Easter Sunday marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the victory of life over death, light over darkness. It’s a day to rejoice, reflect, and feel hope renewed.

Joyful, Uplifting Worship

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.”

Matthew 28:6

The music is triumphant, the church is filled with flowers and light, and the atmosphere is celebratory.

A Shared Experience

Families, friends, and neighbors come together to celebrate, making it a communal, beautiful experience.

Easter also does not last only one day -/ the joy of Easter flows into 8 whole days, called an octave, culminating on Divine Mercy Sunday. Then, the Easter season, where we hear the story of the early Church and the signs and wonders that the apostles carried out in Jesus’s name, continues for 50 whole days, until Pentecost Sunday on May 24. It’s a season of great joy and celebration.

A Time for Reflection and Gratitude

“Because I live, you also will live.” John 14:19

Easter invites personal reflection on God’s love, the meaning of resurrection, and the hope that it brings into our lives.
