Expert-led Church Art + Architecture Tours | Last Sundays

We are delighted to offer guided tours of the church after the 10:30 Mass on the last Sundays of the month, beginning Sunday, September 28. John Alfes will meet with interested parishioners and guests by the altar. 

Our church presents one of the finest examples of ecclesiastical art in the nation. From the moment you enter, you are immersed in a devotional atmosphere shaped by its architecture, spiritual symbolism, and masterful craftsmanship.

Learn and marvel at the rare Porta Santa marble pillars, the portraits in stained glass, the biblical stories in murals, and more. Every detail speaks of faith, reverence, and divine majesty. At the heart of it all, Christ, enthroned above the main altar, invites us to worship. The goal is to enhance your worship and spiritual life at St. James. 

Tours are held on the last Sunday of each month through the end of 2025. RSVPs are not required.
