Sept 17: Season of Creation Rosary and Sunset Walk

The Season of Creation is a time to renew our relationship with our Creator and all creation through celebration,

conversion, and commitment together. Celebrated annually from Sept 1 to Oct 4—the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi—this ecumenical season mobilizes churches, faith-based organizations, and communities worldwide to respond to the ecological crisis.

Join us on Sept 17, 6:30pm at the grotto behind Lakewood Catholic Academy for a special Rosary for Creation as we pray for our world and all creatures in it.

After the Rosary, walk with us to the Solstice Steps at Lakewood Park to enjoy a beautiful Lake Erie sunset!

Feel free to bring a lawn chair. In the event of bad weather, the event will be canceled.
