GIVE CATHOLIC ON GIVING TUESDAY SAVE THE DATE | NOV. 30, 2021 | 12a-11:59p ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… In the 1960’s our St. James Parish School became overcrowded due to high enrollment, making it necessary to carve out additional classrooms from the lower church (Andrews Hall). Two of these classrooms remain as meeting spaces today. Andrews Hall continues to be the hub of the parish for outreach, formation programs, and fellowship.
We need to upgrade the lighting in Andrews Hall. The bulbs (tubes) and ballasts will be replaced with energy-efficient LED bulbs. Also, the fixtures in the classrooms are outdated and replacement bulbs are no longer available. Upon professional evaluation of the electrical system, additional work may be needed as well.
Our Parish Center currently holds our offices, meeting rooms and the Atrium for our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program. This 1950’s building is not centrally air-conditioned. If proceeds from our campaign are sufficient, we would like to add no-duct Mitsubishi air conditioning units to several of the rooms on the main floor, making those spacesmore comfortable and efficient.
